Director of eLearning
I have a BA in Secondary Education and English Literature, a MA in Counseling Psychology, a MA in Curriculum and Instruction, and am in my final year of completing my PhD in Organizational Leadership from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. After beginning my career as a high school teacher, I worked as a mental health counselor before moving to higher education. I live with my wife and our two wildly energetic toddler twins, Deacon and Dylan. Fun fact: I’m learning to surf and am a big fan of Bob Dylan and Taylor Swift.
I have been a teacher for 17 years and I love working with students. I have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a supplemental in Math, a BA in Economics and an AS in Mathematics. Outside of teaching I like to cook & eat, swim, roller skate, and spend time with friends and family.
I received my BA in English and Secondary Teaching Credential from CSU Fullerton. In my free time, I do photography for a music website and travel across the country taking photos of bands. I also love cuddling with my two cats, Bella and Chunk, hiking, and spending time with my one year old nephew!
Science and Art Teacher
I’ve been a teacher for 9 years and have credentials in Art and Science. I received my BA in Art Education from CSU San Bernardino and my Master’s Degree in Education from Chapman University. I enjoy making learning fun for students as well as finding ways to connect art and science. On a personal note, I enjoy traveling, reading and all things related to music. Fun facts: I play roller derby and was in the US Army.
I received my BA in Visual and Theatre Arts, my MA in Cross-Cultural Education, and my single subject teaching credential in two fields, English and Visual Arts. I have taught at OFL for 11 years and I love helping students succeed. I enjoy paintings and photos, of all kinds—they allow us to see the world through other people’s eyes. Fun facts: I have ridden in a hot air balloon, on a motorcycle, driven to Alaska, and I love to scuba dive!
I received my undergraduate degree at CSULB and graduate degree from Chapman University and have been in education for seven years. I feel lucky to be a part of an organization that gives students a second shot at education. I enjoy hiking and attending as many music events as possible. Fun fact about me: I try to travel to a new place at least once per week. I have so far been to seven different countries: Australia, Mexico, Cambodia, Vietnam, Greece, Italy, and Jamaica.
